Session 1 – 12 – 2 pm: inversion basics– Denise will use the Anusara Universal Principles of Alignment® to teach handstand, forearm stand, headstands, and shoulderstand (beginners welcome)

2 – 3 pm: lunch break

Session 2 – 3 – 5 pm: advanced inversions with Matt – take the basic inversions and get creative and play (suitable for intermediate/advanced students)

Yang Yin Yoga is a special designed sequence which combines passive and active asanas with Pranayama & meditation into what can be a very deep, integrated and satisfying practice.

Yang, similar to an all-levels class, is a flowing and dynamic sequence, which stretches and strengthens muscular tissues. Yang activity is fluid and builds to an apex maintaining a core strength; usually postures are standing and energizing.

Yin focuses on the connections in the pelvis, hips and lower spine. Yin Yoga activity is slow, steady with a sense of core softness and surrender; and involves a focus on floor based poses (sitting, laying on belly or back).
