Tantric philosophy, at its core, celebrates the union of apparent opposites. As we unite masculine and feminine, weave light with shadow, and integrate sensuality with spirituality we open a doorway to the experience of wholeness. Gaia fuses the art of embodiment with the science of awareness creating space for manifestation and transformation.

The Maha (Big) Practice: Focus on Partnering
with Allison
Saturday, June 28, 1 - 3:30 PM
$20, or FREE for Auto Debit, 20 Class, and Unlimited Students
Maha means big or great in Sanksrit. This class is similar to Viracity in that the practice is two and a half hours (double the length of a regular class) and will be offered regularly. The difference is that we stick to Level I and build to a couple of Level II poses. Consider this class an opportunity to experience a more expansive practice.

This Maha practice will focus on partnering. In our classes, we often have the opportunity to 'help a friend' with a pose or transition. Learn how to safely and effectively use your knowledge to give and recieve physical assists in class. Teachers, this class will be especially helpful for you, also.

AcroYoga

with Lila Donnolo, certified AcroYoga(R) Instructor
Sat., July 12, 1:30 - 4:30 PM: Trust, Connection, Playfulness: Fundamentals
Sun., July 13, 1:30 - 4:30 PM: Love, Light, & Flight: Flying Intensive & Therapeutics
$50/session, or $80 for both (Please register at least one week in advance for this workshop.)

AcroYoga blends the spiritual wisdom of yoga, the loving kindness of Thai massage, and the dynamic power of Acrobatics. The practice cultivates trust, connection and playfulness, transforming our individual hatha practice into a community experience. From a foundation of mutual support, we empower others to fly and learn to fly ourselves.

*This will be a Fun, Joyful, Heart-Expanding, Body-Working Experience: You don’t need to be super bendy, incredibly fit, or a dutch acrobat.
*You won’t need partners, but you can bring one.

TRUST, CONNECTION, PLAYFULNESS:
ACROYOGA FUNDAMENTALS

This workshop touches upon all the disciplines that AcroYoga offers. The class experience includes: Circle Ceremony, Mirrored Asana, Partner Yoga Flow, Assisted Inversions, Partner Acrobatics, Flying Sequences and Thai Massage. Drawing upon the natural forces of gravity and “metta” (loving kindness) we encourage the body to let go of fear and tension. Students are requested to have familiarity with yoga. No partner necessary!

LOVE, LIGHT, & FLIGHT:
ACROYOGA FLYING INTENSIVE & THERAPEUTICS

Partner flying is a dance between giver and receiver, supporter and supported, the stable and the fluid. Students experience both therapeutic and acrobatic flying through the three basic flying positions, Folded Left, High Flying Whale, and Back Leaf. The base creates a stable platform for the flyer to receive inverted aerial asana flows, blended with therapeutic massage techniques. As the partners switch, they cultivate deeper trust and communication. The flyer receives spinal and muscular release while the base is the recipient of Thai Massage and the Buddhist practice of metta -loving kindness. Students are requested to have a familiarity with yoga.
No partner necessary!
